Want to keep it light and fluffy with Thunders irresistibly yum Fresh Fruit Gâteau?.  A mix of fruit and fluffy freshly whipped cream fills the layers of soft light white sponge. We can’t resist a little bit of hand-finished WOW factor, so the contrast of the dark chocolate sprinkles against the light white fresh cream brings your celebration table to life.  The mix of freshly cut fruit is complemented by the dark chocolate piping in your personalised message.  

What size does it come in?

Thunders Fluffy Fresh Fruit Gâteau  is available online from a 10″ round which is suitable for 10-12 people.  Thunders largest size is called a ‘sheet cake’ and it is suitable for over two hundred people. Hand-finishing is a Thunder’s thing — it’s what we’re known for, so we love an excuse to personalise your cake with a special message and decorative details tailored to your choice. If you want your own special image on the top of your cake, then we recommend a 10” size minimum.  The smaller 7”is available in all Thunders locations daily too.

How long will it last?

We make our Thunders fresh cream cakes every day of the year (apart from Christmas Day).  We’ll bake your cake fresh on the day you want it. Because we want you to really enjoy your cake, Thunders bakers,  recommend that you eat it the same day you get it.  If you have any left, you’ll have up to two days to finish it off. In truth, we all love generous slices and seconds are hard to resist, so in most instances its gone before you can say ‘anyone for coffee’?.

Let’s not kid ourselves about living in the med but even with our temperate weather it’s important that you store your fresh cream cake in a fridge.  Similarly, if you have any left, it’s important to put  any uneaten cake back in your  fridge for eating the next day (or maybe that evening — seconds are hard to resist!)
