“Gluten Free” Rich Fruit Festive Cake

Embrace a Gluten Free traditional Christmas this year with a festive Gluten Free rich fruit cake. Our Recipe has plenty of Irish whiskey soaked fruit & lots of spices to make the perfectly rounded rich fruit cake to enjoy with friends and family over the Christmas season.

What Size is this cake?

The gluten-free rich fruit cakes are both 4″ round cakes.  The iced cake is finished with a festive layer of white icing and festive decals, and the un-iced cake is baked with a decorative layer of whole almonds and cherries.  They both taste so good, you wouldn’t even know they are gluten-free!   

Where will I find Gluten free cakes?

All Thunders locations have stock of gluten-free cakes and bakes all year round.  We will also have a small stock of Christmas cakes from 6.12.23 if you would like to pop in to have a look.  They are available to pre-order online, in-store and over the phone now for collection up to 24.12.23.  We recommend pre-ordering to avoid disappointment, as stocks are limited.

How long will it last?

Your “Gluten Free” Rich Fruit Festive Cake will last up to three months. We recommend that you remove the white icing if you are planning to keep it for a while, as this will ensure a longer life.  

How much notice do I need to give?

We need 2 days notice. 

What are Thunders Christmas opening hours?

Thunders locations will be open until lunchtime Christmas Eve (opening hours will vary).  We are offering a delivery service up to the 23rd of December 2023.  We are not offering a delivery service on Christmas Eve 24th December 2023.

 Is there a Thunders Bakery near me?

Ah, come on…  We must be round the corner. We have multiple locations around Dublin, including Crumlin, Finglas, Clontarf, Drumcondra, Donaghmede, Phibsboro,  Swords, Coolock & Santry.
