Thunders Salted Caramel Drip Cake

Our mouth watering salted caramel drip cake is a white sponge cake layered with salted caramel and salted caramel cream.  We’ve made this cake available in two sizes both “Tall’ and “Showstopper” and we’ve heard both are quite the envy of most!

Whats on the inside?

So, between the layers of white sponge are layers of salted caramel cream and a drizzle of luscious salted caramel.  We cut the sponge to make sure we have five layers of cakes to match the five layers of filling.

Whats on the outside?

Similarly, we’ve finished the outside of our Salted Caramel Drip cake with the salted caramel cream.  We put warm caramel into a piping bag and pipe it to the edge of the cake where is drips down the sides creating the drip effect.   We decorate the top of Our “Tall” cake with salted caramel cream swirls and a chocolate caramel surprise ! Taking a small truffle chocolate shell we fill it with salted caramel and place each chocolate onto a cream swirl.  Our team then use melting dark Belgian chocolate to hand piped your personalised message on the top of the cake.

We decorate the showstopper with dark Belgian chocolate fans and cigarillos for that super luxurious look.   The team use melting dark Belgian chocolate to hand pipe your message for the final flourish, finally, nesteling it amongst the chocolate extravaganza.

You can order our Salted Caramel Drip Cake Online or over the counter at any of our 12 bakery’s.  We need a few days notice for these cakes so we encourage you to place your order without delay.  If you are ordering online you can choose to collect for free from any of our bakery’s in Dublin city and surrounding areas or to have your cake delivered to one of the areas we cover in Dublin.  Collection is arable only if you are ordering over the counter with our wonderful sales team.
