Thunders ‘Par-tay’ Chocolate Buttercream Cake

Every bite melts in your  mouth! Thunders ‘Par-tay’ Chocolate Buttercream is a soft chocolate sponge cake layered with light chocolate buttercream, so, it makes for an especially delicious celebration cake. Our confectionary artists garnish Thunders chocolate buttercream cakes with Chocolate sprinkles and delicate pressed sugar decorations .  We’ll tailor the decorative details to reflect your own special message on your  cake. For instance, if you want a girly feminine finish then we might decorate your cake with hand finished flowers.  For the lads, or perhaps boys — we might decorate your cake with  sugar stars or  maybe chocolate shards for a corporate cake.  We will hand pipe your personalised message in white chocolate. Its available in 10″ or larger is available to pre-order online. 

What size does it come in?

This cake is available online from a 10″ round which is suitable for 10-12 people.  We call our  largest size a ‘sheet cake’ and it is suitable for over two hundred people.  We offer, as part of our service, piping a personalised message on all sizes of this cake, however, we recommend the 10″ size minimum for best results.  Also if you are going for a picture cake deffo go for it and choose the 10″.  A smaller 8″ Thunders ‘Whoop Whoop’ Vanilla Buttercream is available in all locations daily.

How long will it last?

We make our buttercream cakes every day !  We’ll make your cake fresh on the day and we recommend that you eat it the same day.  You’ll have 3-5 days to finish it off  if it’s not all eaten on the day.  It is important that you store this buttercream cream cake in its box in a cool room or you can pop it in the fridge once the candles are blown out!  

How much notice do I need to give ?

Personalised Buttercream cakes are available, in all sizes, to pre-order with only 3 days notice.   If you need a cake today we have a selection of buttercream cakes available to take with you, for instance, Vanilla Buttercreams, Sprinkle buttercreams and red velvet cakes.   They all come with a standard ‘Happy Birthday’ message hand piped in chocolate.

Ah come on…  We must be round the corner. We have multiple locations around Dublin, including Crumlin, Finglas, Clontarf, Drumcondra, Dundrum, Donaghmede,  Phibsboro, Prussia Street, Swords, Rathmines, Coolock, Santry and the Liffey Valley Café serving.
