We are delighted to announce a new collection location, Mardi Confectionery, on Dublin’s Southside. Mardi Confectionery Limited, our partner bakery, is located in Deansgrange Business Park, Kill Lane, Blackrock, Co. Dublin, A94FY22.
This came about since much of our business is now pre-ordered online, we plan to evolve to meet your changing needs. Our location in Windy Arbour, Dundrum, opened in 2009, closed this past weekend on Sept,10th as a first step in our evolution. This location saw the most dramatic change to moving online with many of you opting to pre-order cakes, bread and confectionery from your phones, laptops, desktops and tablets !
We thought sure we’re only down the road in Ashleaf s/c, Crumlin ,15 minutes by car where there’s free parking. We have plenty of space in the cold rooms to hold even more cakes for collection. Supported by our delivery service covering Dublin and surrounding areas, Mardi confectionery, believe it or not, is just down the road in Deansgrange which and also a 15-minute drive away from Windy Arbour.
Mardi Confectionery, our new collection location, is a small and dynamic company that produces handcrafted cakes since 1978 in Dublin. As a supplier, Mardi has an enviable reputation for reliability and quality. Its cakes have been enjoyed in the largest national and multinational companies, and also you can find them in your local coffee shop, sandwich bar, delicatessen or even on the menu of your favourite restaurant.
When you arrive to the bakery, just ring the bell, and we’ll pop out to you. We’ll need a few details from you to confirm the order and collection times are Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm. Saturday’s collections are between 9am – 12noon only, so if you need a later pickup time we’d recommend heading to Ashleaf.
Gluten-free cakes are a little different because they arrive from our gluten-free bakery to Mardi much later in the day. We recommend collecting after 12 noon and give us a call before you set off just to make sure your cake has arrived. Saturday Collections of gluten-free cakes are not possible from Mardi.
Our delivery service will continue to cover Dublin and its surrounding areas. For the next few weeks until Christmas 2022 we are reducing delivery charges to €10 in areas close to Dundrum.
