So, it’s getting close to communion time and your big day. You’ve a lot done with more to do…. Arranged the suit and polished the shoes, organised the dress , heels, hair appointment and the nails are booked too! There’s still so much to do because that just Mum & Dad sorted. With the children to organise, most importantly, the special one, there’s so much more to your child’s communion day. Your morning will be busy and we are wondering what will your afternoon like? For instance, will you book a meal, have a party at home or head away for a few days? decisions… decisions…. What- ever the plans for the day you may be thinking of including a cake in your celebrations. We’ve an exciting variety of traditional and contemporary Thunders communion cakes to suit most tastes.
Our traditional communion book cake is available in 10″ square and and 12″ square sizes. We have two different flavours to choose from and three different finishes. The flavours are chocolate and vanilla with a layer of buttercream with the additional layer of jam in the Vanilla. Our communion book cakes, mostly white in finish, come with an option to choose from yellow, pink or blue in the accessories and accent colours. An edible communion graphic is placed on one side of the book, similarly, your personalised message is hand piped on the other side in belgian chocolate. We need 3 days notice for these cakes, however, we do recommend that you order in plenty of time.
While all of our cakes are readily available we have two different ways to place your order. To order thunders Communion Cakes online simply browse our website and click to add to cart. In addition to online buying you can pop into any of our bakery’s around Dublin and order over the counter. You can choose to collect your communion cake from any of our bakery’s around Dublin or have it delivered if collection is not possible. Communion Season is always very busy for the bakery, therefore, we recommend you give us a much notice as possible.
